A regular discipline of prayer and Bible reading is an essential aspect of Christian living and growing in faith. Michael will be saying Morning Prayer in church every Thursday from 17th September at 9am and you are very welcome to join him. This short and informal time is an opportunity to reflect on the Bible together and to pray for the needs of the world, the church and ourselves. It’ll last around 30-40 minutes (depending on how much there is to say about the readings and how much we have to pray for!)
If you have a smartphone or tablet there’s a convenient “app” called “Daily Prayer” that includes everything you will need (available at the Play Store or Apple Store). Please bring a device if you have one. If you don’t have such a device there’ll be a few paper copies available, but please bring a Bible.
Perhaps you’ve been hoping to deepen your habits of prayer and scripture reading for a while. Maybe now is the time to put that hope into action!
